Michigan State Flower: Apple Blossom

Scientific Name: Malus

State Flower Description: Apple trees are very common in the US and they grow from 20 to 40 feet in height, the Apple Blossom show on the Apple tree from April to June depending on location in the US. Apple blossoms have a cherry pink to white petals.

Where It's Found: Apple trees are found throughout the US but are more prevalent in the Northern states due to it's hardy nature. In the northern states of the US you can find massive apple tree farms in which the fruit is harversted for the apples and cider.
