The Colorado agency of the Department of Public Safety (DPS) is a state or local government agency in the US which administers certain state agencies by providing administrative, financial, technical support for state services which may include but is not limited the following: Fire & Rescue, HAZMAT response, Ambulance & EMS, Police / State Troopers, Emergency communications / 911, Emergency Operations Center / Emergency Services, Inspections and code enforcement & Animal control
