The Ohio Department of Public Safety is a state government agency which administers certain state agencies by providing administrative, financial, technical support for state services which may include but is not limited the following: Fire & Rescue, HAZMAT response, Ambulance & EMS, Police / State Troopers, Emergency communications / 911, Emergency Operations Center / Emergency Services, Inspections and code enforcement & Animal control
