Pennsylvania CHIP

CHIP covers all uninsured children and teens in the state of Pennsylvania. It’s abbreviation stands for Children's Health Insurance Program.  This is Pennsylvania's program to provide health insurance to all uninsured children and teens who are not eligible for or enrolled in Medical Assistance.

For most families CHIP would be free, if your families income is greater than $46,100 a year you would pay a very low premium and co-pays at some services.

How about Pre-exisiting conditions?

Covered - There is no exclusions, however if your child has a serious medical condition he or she may qualify for Medical Assistance
