Georgia is the largest state east of the Mississippi river which is comprised of 58,056 square miles of land. Georgia is bordered by Florida to the south, the Atlantic Ocean & South Carolina to the east, Alabama to the west and Tennessee and North Carolina to the North of the state. Georgia is basically broken up into three different types of land, with the north being mountainous where the blue ridge mountains come to an end. The middle of the state is rolling hills, and the southern end of the state is basically a coastal flat.
